Big Idea: Jesus came as our perfect Savior, to save us completely from our sin.
II. Found to be Pregnant
A. Jesus’ birth brought new hope. Matthew 1:18a; Romans 7:19-20
B. Jesus’ conception was unique. Matthew 1:18b; Ephesians 2:1
III. The Lord Appeared
A. We all (like Joseph) make plans. Matthew 1:19
B. Are we willing to submit to God’s change of plans? Matthew 1:20
IV. A Son
A. Jesus saves from sin. Matthew 1:21; Matthew 9:1-7; 1 John 4:8
B. Jesus saves by identifying with us. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:22-23; Hebrews 9:22
V. Commanded
A. We’re called to believe. Matthew 1:24; John 6:29
B. Name Jesus Savior. Matthew 1:25
