A. The crowd considered being in need an annoyance. Mark 10:48a
B. Jesus is different than the crowd. Mark 10:48b

IV. Called                                                                                                                                              
A. Jesus stops for beggars. Mark 10:49
B. Jesus calls us amid our struggles. Mark 10:50

V. Saved                                                                                                                                                
A. Be honest with Jesus. Psalm 50:7-12; Mark 10:51; Matthew 6:22-23  
B. Faith frees us to follow Jesus. Mark 10:52

III. Want                                                                                                                                           
A. In our flesh we’re spiritually deaf. Mark 10:35
B. Jesus knows where we are. Mark 10:36-37

IV. Prepared                                                                                                                                                 
A. We don’t know what it takes or how to be blessed. Mark 10:38-39a
B. Jesus goes before us in suffering. Mark 10:39b-41

V. Greatness                                                                                                                                               
A. We must give up our self-direction. Mark 10:42-44
B. Only Christ’s service frees us. Mark 10:45

Big Idea: We can be certain of the resurrection.  

II. Substance                                                                                                                                 
A. All worldviews start with a theory. John 17:17; Hebrews 11:1-2
B. Consider the premise that’s most reasonable. Hebrews 1:3

III. Rewards                                                                                                                                 
A. It’s possible to please God. Romans 1:18-20; Hebrews 11:4-6a
B.  Faith is not an accident. Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 11:6b

IV. Not Ashamed                                                                                                                             
A. God is offering us a better county. Hebrew 11:7-16
B. Faith requires sacrifice. Hebrews 11:17-38; 1 Peter 5:10  

V. Perfect                                                                                                                              
A. Receive what’s been promised. Hebrews 9:26; 11:39
B. Be made perfect. Hebrews 11:40

Big Idea: Dependence and poverty are required to experience the strength and riches of God’s kingdom.

II. Blessed                                                                                                                                       
A. Jesus has time for us. Mark 10:13; 1 Peter 5:7
B. Grace doesn’t work for the ungracious. Mark 10:14-16

III. Good                                                                                                                                        
A. It’s possible to be sincere, and completely oblivious. Mark 10:17-20
B. Jesus loves us enough to expose us. Matthew 6:24; Mark 10:21-22; 1 Timothy 6:10

IV. Rich                                                                                                                                                  
A. We can’t acquire heaven. Mark 10:23-26
B. Grace is a gift. Mark 10:27

V. Eternal Life                                                                                                                                  
A. Trusting Jesus leads to greater riches. Mark 10:28-30
B. Following Christ causes us to find our reward in Him.  Mark 10:31
