SERMONS

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man
of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
-- 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Next Step

  • Do you consider yourself rich? Why or why not?
  • How can our adoption in Christ lead to peace?
  • Why should Christians be the most generous people on earth?
  •  How can the doctrine of predestination lead to humility and praise of God?
  • What’s a way you’ve experienced the gospel as good news lately?
  • Who’s someone you’d like to see changed through the Holy Spirit? Pray for that person.

The Next Step

Has your family ever called you by a name that no one else does?
What’s something you’re looking forward to learning or being challenged in from the book of Ephesians?
Why was it important that Paul referred to himself as an apostle?
If you’re a believer in Christ, how does it make you feel to know you’re a saint?
When do you struggle to accept God’s grace to you?
How have you experienced God’s peace lately?
Read Acts 17:26-27. What do you think is the primary thing God wants us to focus on as His church in Elma, now and in the years to come?
How can we respond to Ephesians 1:1-2?
