3. Warning Three: Everyone is someone’s spouse or child. 2 Samuel 11:3   
4. Warning Four: Lust objectifies. 2 Samuel 11:4  
5. Warning Five: Sin always has consequences. 2 Samuel 11:5  
6. Warning Six: Sin destroys our true selves. 2 Samuel 11:6-13  
7. Warning Seven: Sin can justify anything. 2 Samuel 11:14-15 
8. Warning Eight: Sin causes collateral damage. 2 Samuel 11:16-24  
9. Warning Nine: Continuing in sin hardens our hearts. 2 Samuel 11:25  
10. Warning Ten: Sin causes God amnesia.  2 Samuel 11:26-27; Psalm 139:7-12  
III. Responding to Warnings               
​1. Respect sin’s destructive power. 1 Corinthians 10:13  
2. Resolve to put sin to death. 1 Peter 2:24a  
3. Remember our better King rescues. Be 1 Peter 2:24b
