MISSIONSGideons International Our Mission Focus for January is The Gideons International The Gideons International founded in 1899 is an Association of Christian businesses and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through sharing their personal testimony and by providing Bibles and Testaments to people in 200 countries printed in over 95 languages. The association takes its name from the Biblical figure Gideon found in Judges 6. They are recognized for their work of placing Bibles in Hotel Rooms, Hospitals, Medical Offices, Schools, and Prisons. These Bibles give people the opportunity to discover the truth in God’s Word.
