MISSIONS

Good News! Great Joy! Operation Christmas Child is August’s and September’s Mission Focus. Every SHOEBOX gift is an opportunity to reach a child from around the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His love. It is an opportunity for local churches to invite children into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through “The Greatest Gift” booklet and The Greatest Journey discipleship program. (See copies on table) This project was started in 1993 by Franklin Graham of Samaritan’s Purse. Since then, more than 209 million children in over 170 countries have received boxes. What a blessing it is to fill a shoebox with toys, school supplies, and personal hygiene items! Pick up your box and label to begin spreading joy or build a box online at samaritanspurse.org/occ. Or find box stuffers at amazon.com (search Operation Christmas Child)
